Tennis Time!

Today I went to an adult tennis club, like always. Every Monday I’d get driven 20 minutes to a high school tennis court. My mom is a player and my dad is manager. And so I had to go every single Monday (except when my mom was sick.)

This was pretty fun, though. I got to meet some adults who were like my friends! My dad and I played with other people while they rested for one match. I was always passionate to talk to these people and play with them, although they were all grown up. I especially liked blowing my dad’s whistle after the match time was up.

Some people didn’t play some matches. Some joined the second round. Or the third. So because of that we would just play and stretch.

Today this person told me to do 500 squats. Four people including me did it together but none of us managed 500—we weren’t counting anyway!

One of my best friends at this court is Jules. She is really nice and funny unlike her nickname Yeti. One time I played with her in a match because this one person take forever to come!!

One thing I also liked is they bring treats and bananas! They usually bring things I am allergic to (I have egg and milk allergy), but sometimes they bring crunchy rice crispy thingies and granola bars made of oat.

We play at night, so after daylight saving time, the sky looks absolutely beautiful! A mix of pink and purple with blue the other way. It looks so cool and I absolutely love it!

Now that’s what I had to say, so goodbye!
